While they will separate for several months, Jupiter and Pluto will begin and end the year in harmony, though with a different focus. The year begins with Jupiter in its first full day in your relationship sector and having just turned direct on New Year’s Eve, this is more than a symbolic chance for a fresh start. Jupiter has been in retrograde motion for four months and as well as turning direct and shifting the focus away from the past and onto the future, as he will leave on 26th May this is when you will enter the final phase of this powerful year for relationship building. Meanwhile, as the planets leave your communication sector, they will follow Pluto into your home and family sector, where apart from 11 weeks from 2nd September to 20th November, he will call this home for the next 20 years.

This is a year where you won’t be able to judge a book by its cover, but where once you open it, you will find that there is so much more than first impressions would suggest. This year has two main surprises or exceptions to the norm, with one obvious from the start and the other not revealing itself for several months. Jupiter is here until June 2025 but having the Sun here from 21st May to 21st June, Venus from 24th May to 17th June, Mercury from 3rd June to 10th June and Mars from 21st July to 5th September will get this off to an empowered start. This is your best chance in 12 years to take your financial power back.
On both the romantic and relationship fronts, you have planets that have been here for years, which means that things will never go completely off the boil. However, on both fronts, there are three levels of layers of planetary activity. This will also turn an ordinary New Moon here on 9th April into a total solar eclipse, with the potential for major new beginnings. By then, things will be a lot more active on the job front, though while Eris’ direct turn on 12th January will take the brakes off, it is not until Mercury returns on 10th March that things will really get moving.
Normally, here for just 14 to 15 days, a retrograde turn will keep Mercury in your work sector until 16th May, with the Sun and Venus both moving through in that time. However, the busiest and the most active weeks of the year on the job front are likely to be when Mars moves through from 1st May to 9th June. It is just three and a half weeks later that Mercury will return to your career sector to begin the first planetary activity on the career front for the year on 3rd July. While Mercury is only here until 26th July, he will retrograde back in for a second visit from 15th August to 9th September. With Venus here from 12th July to 5th August and the Sun from 22nd July to 23rd August, they will keep the seat warm while Mercury is gone. However, the biggest push could come when Mars returns from 4th November 2024 to 6th January 2025.
